How to Make Tiered Heart Cake
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare two heart-shaped cake pans by greasing and flouring them.
- Cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the milk and vanilla extract until combined.
- Combine the flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder in a separate bowl. Gradually add these to the wet mixture until just blended.
- Pour the batter into prepared pans and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Cool the cakes completely on a wire rack before frosting.
- Whip the heavy cream and gradually mix in the powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
- Frost the top of one layer, stack the other, and frost the top and sides of the entire cake.
